Dunkley Music is 3rd generation piano movers and we move pianos locally and long distance in the Wasatch Front and Cache Valley areas. We are experienced in moving all piano types and sizes from spinets to large professional grand pianos.  We pride ourselves in the safe relocation of all acoustic pianos (upright, grand, antique, and player pianos).

Our local service area is Davis, Weber, Box Elder and Cache Counties in Utah. We move pianos in other areas but distance charges may apply.

Professional Piano Movers

Piano moving is a specialized service and should never be entrusted to an amateur mover or a furniture moving company.  Even though the cost of using a furniture moving company may seem lower sometimes than that of a piano moving company, the damage to the instrument that can result from an inexperienced piano mover can result in a very expensive repair if even repairable at all.  The price of keeping your piano safe is much lower than having it restored.

Spinet, console, studio upright, upright grand, and other upright pianos typically need no disassembly; baby grand, grand, and concert grand pianos must be carefully taken off their legs, wrapped in blankets and secured to a grand piano board.  Usually only experienced piano movers use the proper equipment to ensure that your valuable acoustic piano remains safe and protected.
